This Thursday my baby girl will graduate from High School. These last l8 years have been some of the quickest, longest, happiest, saddest years of my life. Amie has rolled with all of it and come out a stronger, wonderful, talented human being. I will miss going to her choir concerts, watching her perform in musicals, and watching her dance. I look forward to having her move in with us, being her as she comes and goes and just being a bigger part of her adult life. She is beautiful and amazing and all of Windrift ward would agree with that.
Tanner will be a sophmore next year. Yikes. where did the time go? last summer his glasses flew off his face into the ocean. He was on his super activity. Unfortunatly it happend at the begining of the trip so he didn't see much. His braces were off and now contacts, and grew a few more inches. I took him to mutual and I could here the girls all asking "whos that guy". He is pretty popular with the girls. He is also quite talented. His dad has him taking private cello, and guitar lessons. He can play just about anything you ask him to by ear. I look forward to 3 more years of orchestra concerts.
I only have a little more than a week before I hit the big 50. I didn't loose weight like I had wanted to, in fact I gained 20 pounds.
Let the summer begin.

For the last 6 months I have been doing "in home care" for Katherine Woods. An 82 years old woman with Parkinson's and dementia. I work 18 hours a day 6 days a week. 8 or more hours are at night time and I can usually sleep through them. It's working out.
Amie is so good to come over. I was getting all psyched for her to be gone next year but, it is sounding like she might come live here and go to ASU. That would be awesome.

For the most part this last week was a really good one. I finished everything I needed to do to update my status at "Hope Group" to active. I went hiking. Yes, hiking. If my lungs and my legs could have kept up with my mouth it would have been a breeze. It was such a beautiful day. I went with my friend Sherri (Red) Shell. We had such a good time. Sherri is a good girl. Very fun. Thurs. Opening night of "West Side Story" Amie played "Velma" that girl has such nice legs. Not so fond of Docs choice. (I like a rest from that kinda stuff) However, it was very fun to watch all of the dancing. Fri. Pizza and gab session with Rosemary Perkins. Sat. afternoon, Rosemarry, Sylvia Burr, and Tracie went to see the play again. I think I liked it even better the 2nd time. This morning I wasn't sure I'd see the faces of my two youngest or not (knowing Amie would have been out late after the cast party) But just into the first verse here they came. I LOVE sitting in the middle of those two sweet kids!

Ya know I believe I have spent to much time trying to get this thing "off the ground" so to speak that there hasn't been a lot of journaling going on.
I have a had a lot of things to think about to good some not so good. I guess it's kinda "the good the bad and the ugly.
I think I'll just keep most of the yuck to myself and hope that what "they" say is true. . . it'll all come out in the wash.
Ok! since it's technically Mon. Feb. 28, 2011, I will start my new job that I am very excited for tomorrow!. I also must kick it up a notch and start studying for the ncct test. To get certified. MA was good enough for me, but I guess CMA well. . . we'll see.
I've been waiting for Tracie to show her Sweet face since 11:00 p.m. she said she was going to get gas. I would have the police already looking except that she does this all the time. UGH! We will be renegotiating her contract!
